Description

“Smart Set” is a vibrant, figure-hugging suit dress ensemble. It features a lined, sleeveless sheath dress of red wool crepe, accented with a patterned silk bow. The bolero jacket is lined in matching silk, with a single pleat back for sophisticated drama. Accessories include a black felt chapeau with a white felt feather, gloves, earrings, hose and shoes. Of special note is the original painting by Mel Odom re-created as a miniature print for this costume. Circa 1948. Designer: Doug James
