Thumbeline by Hans Christian Andersen. Illustrated by Katherine Atkins. The companion doll, Thumbeline, who was created for the 2006 UFDC Convention, and the Prince of Flowers, were sculpted and designed by Helen Kish. These works served as inspiration for Katherine’s illustrations and the raison d’etre for this book.
