Remember when, despite Mammy’s objections, Scarlett pulled down Miss Ellen’s portieres with the intention of making them into a dress? Well, in Scarlett O’Hara™ The Portieres Dress, that outfit comes to life. As worn by our Scarlett, with green eyes and center-parted, brown curly hair which has been pulled back at the sides, the dress takes on a whole new life. The 1860’s style, green velvet Basque coat is worn over an underskirt of pale green satin. The gown is belted at the waist with green and gold cording that is trimmed with gold tassels. And beneath her Scarlett O’Hara™ The Portieres Dress, Scarlett wears a boned white taffeta petticoat that is trimmed with tulle and lace, white taffeta bloomers that are trimmed with lace, nude pantyhose and green velvet pumps. A fetching hat of green velvet trimmed with gold fringe, a gold tassel, a resin rooster foot and a black feather, sits prettily on this articulated Cissy’s head. Add in silver drop earrings and Scarlett O’Hara™ The Portieres Dress is ready to meet Rhett in the stable.
