Gene is indeed an “elegant presence” in this deep violet satin evening gown accented in lavender, with inverted-pleat tailoring and exquisite beaded ribbon roses detailing the front of the gown. Deep violet evening gloves, lilac chiffon stole, jewelry, shoes, and hose complete the ensemble. Circa 1952. Designer: Timothy Alberts.
