LE9500. Retailer Exclusive. “Midnight Gamble” is a sleek sheath of navy blue crepe lined in white knit. Three pleats of Prussian blue silk highlight the bodice, draping from a knot into sashes accented with silver metallic embroidery, sequins and beads. The trapeze-style jacket is of matching blue silk, with white patterned silk lining, inverted back pleat, and three-quarter length sleeves with cuffs. Hand-embellished with sequins, beads and silver metallic embroidery, it includes gloves, silver shoes and earrings. Circa 1953. Designer: Doug James.
