This spectacular Madame Alexander Cissy doll is from 1996. This is the year that the Alexander doll company reintroduced Cissy to the doll world after a long absence with a limited edition couture collection of fabulous dolls. 

This is Cissy #67601, and her ensemble is known as the Ebony and Ivory Houndstooth Suit. It consists of a straight skirt in a houndstooth check shot through with silver threads, a slim, houndstooth jacket with a peplum and elaborate velveteen scrolled trim, and a black and white silk sleeveless blouse with a flounce at the neckline. Cissy’s suit is topped of with a “chinchilla” shrug and a matching veiled, fur hat. She also wears a “ruby” and “diamond” bracelet, earrings, and brooch, black leather gloves, black stockings, and spectator pumps.  Cissy has very long auburn hair and dark brown eyes.
