Catharina has the baby body that makes Didy Jacobsen dolls so wonderful – vinyl arms, legs and head with a soft weighted body.  She is dressed in “Kaloo” (an exclusive French baby line) soft velour romper with coordinating bunnies and snugly blanket that she can fit right into.  All of this in pinks and white.  She has a Mohair wig, blue glass eyes and hand painted face. wears a white plush romper. She has a very thick plush “cuddle bag” – this bag is constructed of 2 thick pieces zipped together. Catharina goes inside with openings for her hands and an opening to change her diapers! LE750.

Didy Jacobsen, the artist was born in a little village in the Netherlands. She was a hairstylist, when the doll “virus” hit her during a doll making course. She is fascinated especially by babies just about to discover their surroundings.

She sculpts her dolls born from fantasy with much sense for detail.
