Description

Perhaps anticipated but not the reaction she’d hoped,  Claire creates quite a stir as she and Jamie prepare to enter the court of King Louis XV in their attempt to prevent the Jacobite rising and change history in the process.  The iconic Red Dress, as designed by Terry Dresbach, reflects a modern approach to 18th Century Parisian fashion with influence from Claire’s 1940’s roots.

Our exquisite Claire stands an impressive 16″ and is made of the finest vinyl and hard plastic and has 15 points of articulation.  Her beautiful eyes of blue, and deep rich brown rooted saran hair is styled just as it should be to accent her fabulous period gown.  And what a gown!  Made of a deep ruby-red taffeta the separate bodice of the dress fits like a glove and is trimmed with tiny satin ribbons crisscrossed over the rib cage and cuff of the three-quarter sleeve.  Her drop-dead skirt is fashioned of the same taffeta as the bodice and stands out to there!  Deep pleats add detail interest and richness to the full skirt.  Of course she needs something to hold this architectural wonder up, so included  is a tulle cage.  Under all that are nude pantyhose (a nod to the modern) and costume accurate satin shoes with buckled straps to hold them in place.  The perfect touch to finish off the outfit are her “ruby” and “diamond” rhinestone earrings.  To keep her on her feet, Claire comes with an acrylic stand.  All in all, she’s quite the sight!
