Nel de Man created Leon has a pale blonde Kanekalon wig, Blue crystal glass eyes and real eye-lashes. Because the face is hand-painted it looks like that of a real baby. Leon has a bag of sand in his body and wears real nappies.
He is dressed in a green shirt with butterfly trim. The butterfly trim is repeated on his green shorts. He also wears a white cardigan with button-fastened hood and matching knitted pant. A little silver heart-shaped rattle is fixed to his comfort blanket.
Like all Nel de Man dolls, Leon comes with a personal letter of sponsorship and bears the signature of the artist
