Laser cut from tempered Masonite (both sides are finished!), this product will go from six easy pieces to a sturdy chair in just a few minutes. It disassembles even more quickly when you’re ready to take it down.

While it IS a sturdy material, masonite is manufactured of compressed layers of wood fibers so it WILL break if subjected to rough treatment. All of the precision-cut pieces will fit together easily and should never be forced during assembly.

The chair parts will come with the laser cut edges of the masonite wiped of soot but not sealed, so the simple ‘throw cloth’ is included to use until you choose how to finish your chair, whether with a sewn slipcover or paint. Tempered Masonite will take your choice of finishes – acrylic paint, oil paint and/or varnish, sprayed or brushed – it can even be gold leafed or stenciled! You can glue on decorative elements made from a variety of materials (polymer clay, hot glue, air dry clay, etc). Just make sure that any finishes or decorations don’t interfere with assembly.

Please note that masonite items are wood products that are laser cut and will have some soot clinging to them on delivery. This is easily removed/painted over and is not considered a defect.
