Modern Doll Collector Convention, Las Vegas 2006. LE300. From the classic Commedia dell’arte fable of Columbine, Pierrot, and Harlequin, R. John Wright created the convention doll and two companion dolls.

The special convention doll, “Columbine” creation is made entirely of felt and dressed in a sumptuous period costume of organdy and crinoline! Fully jointed with delicately hand painted features, Columbine measured 15″ tall from the miniature handmade felt roses adorning her hand-knotted mohair wig to the bottom of her dainty silk-covered high-heeled slippers. Columbine’s incredibly tiny turned fingers and slender adult torso marks a unique departure for R. John Wright Dolls. She is mint, never removed from her deluxe rose colored gift box embossed with silver foil.
