Our dollhouse dolls are approximately 1/10 the actual size of an adult and an exact copy of a real person.  This little boy was modeled exactly after a historic photograph of 1923 of Kathe Kruse’s youngest son, Max Kruse.  On the inside there is a flexible wire skeleton which can be bent in exactly the same places as a human can bend.  The body is formed of cotton and covered by tricot.  The hair and face are traditionally hand painted and the head is made of fine porcelain.  Max is wearing a beautiful sailor suit made of cotton fabric in a light blue color together with a matching shirt striped in white and pink.  The little feet fit into tiny white socks and navy blue felt shoes.
