Winter 2017 Issue.  Decadence

This issue is filled with extravagance. The theme is “Decadence”, but really there aren’t enough superlatives to describe the gorgeous dolls and fashions in this issue. We have coverage of Puddle 2017, featuring adorable Pullips, Volks Dolpa sharing exqiusite Dollfies, and up-and-comers like Racoon Doll, Mminette and Kadira.

We also get a sneak peek at the amazing dolls and fashions that will be bestowed by the “Sinners” at Kingdom Doll’s October event in New Orleans. Our cover girl is an homage to the spectacular fragrance campaigns of Dior, for their parfum, J’Adore. From the top of her golden tresses to the hem of her beaded crystal adorned gown, she will be the closest thing to haute couture from the great house that most of us will ever have on our shelves. In addition to the event doll, “Avarice”, you might be lucky enough to win the chance to purchase “Aphrodite” (the spectacular variation of the same sculpt, Belgae) as well as “Helen” and “Paris”, the male doll from Kinsman.

We have the petite ladies as well. Glenn Mielke gives us shiny, minty, sparkly! Mod-era Barbie and friends while Pamela Thompson styles an edgy “location” shoot featuring Integrity and LoveTone dolls. Cindi Mortensen brings us adventures from Moreville, Ian Price visits with Bambola, and Paul Bruce gives us an amazing look at tiny dining room sets in a myriad of styles that have inspired me to shop for some new furniture for the little ladies in my collection.

Michaela Unbehau is inspired by the white hot KD girls, while Ian Price and Kim London gives us decadent glamour featuring the superstars of the the resin runway, including Emperis, JamieShow, Mazarine, Numina, and Superdoll.  Ernesto Padró-Campos interviews jewelry designer Joy Jarred and gives us a particularly lovely artistic portfolio of glamour portraits featuring her delicious jewelry and the models of RDG, JamieShow, Superdoll and Molly Hayward.
