Miss Seventeen, The “Beauty Queen", is 18" issued by Louis Marx & Co Toys in 1961, made in Hong Kong. A Bild Lilli-mold doll. Marx purchased the rights to use the Lili molds and developed Miss Seventeen from there.
All Original. Made of hard plastic, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips with string and elastic. She has painted black and white eyes, bright red cupid mouth, molded black button earrings, and high heel feet with holes in the soles. Her fine synthetic hair is rooted into a skullcap which is set into her head.
All original black one piece with her name in red on a satin beauty queen sash, red satin cape lined in white and original red shoes. Included is her original crown and trophy with the very hard to find top. Her box as pictured is in poor condition. Stand base included.
